Old Man's Child - "Revelation666: The Curse Of Damnation"
The new Dimmu Borgir album... Ooops, sorry... I mean, the new OLD MAN' S CHILD album is finally a fact! Don't mind my confusion, but "Revelation666: The Curse Of Damnation", even though it's an amazing and excellent album, is very similar to the latest works of the aforementioned Norwegians. "Melodic/atmospheric black metal" or, as some people prefer it, "fake black metal". I am one of those who prefer the first characterization, as it is nothing but fake. Revelation666 is an album that consists of 8 new killer creations. It may be or have anything new for the genre, but it sure is a totally damn worthy to buy album! With 2 drummers (Grimar and Tjodalv - their old drummer who returned from the Dimmus) plus older members in the line up (Jardar in the lead guitar parts and the fresh input of Memnoch in the bass section), Revelation666 is for sure an album much better from Ill-Natured Spiritual Invasion and, most likely, the band's best album (even though the most unoriginal one) so far. Top creations of the album: Phantoms of Mortem Tales, Hominis Nuctuna, Unholy Vivid Innocence.

BUY OR DIE!!!

Only because the album lacks of originality, in my opinion:
