(Seven)

Sadistic Noise - "A Decade In The Grace" (Seven) If there is one thing that really makes instant impression about this CD, it's surely the horrible production. It's the worst one I've ever heard on an album. O.K., non crystal clear productions are not bad, but this is too much. What comes out of the speakers is noise, not sound, and the listener is forced to try, in order to listen to it. Although the result is bad, Sadistic Noise's compositions are good, though nothing original. The tracks are good, but the production ruins everything. This musical style (USA Death) demands for better production. Another one of Sadistic Noise's weak points is the vocals. At some points, the vocals sound ridiculous. The duration of the tracks is too long, and some should last less time. The continuing use of refrains in each track is rather disturbing. The highlight of the CD is definitely "Lethargic Faith" ('89 version), which has better and clearer sound, and it's also better as a composition, whereas the worst track is "Necrobutcher". Songs like that can do nothing but harm a group, since it is a real zero. "War (Pleasure of Pain)" is influenced by Sodom and Motorhead and has nothing to do with the rest of the tracks. As far as the cover is concerned, my only wonder is: Is this the best they could come up with? If Sadistic Noise do not wish to remain in the grave any longer, they should make drastic changes in the production area. After all these, the best grade I can put is…
