Emerging from the northern Greek regions, BLADE OF SPIRIT return with their brand new recording, a 2-songer that according to the band is destined to hit the doors of record labels. Personally speaking, the evolution of this quintet is more than obvious and I dare to say that these 2 songs raise many expectations from this talented band. Depression Of Ages opens the demo/cd and leaves you no choices but to get caught to its web. A very good song indeed, that is showing that BLADE OF SPIRIT can easily compose classic metal tunes without their influences ruin the final result. The next one, is the magnificent Reflections Of You, probably the most sensational track the band has ever written, with an unbelievable competition between the two guitars and the solid playing of the rhythm section move the track to another dimension. The vocal interpretation of their singer is highly improved, a fact that emphasizes the hard work and the strength this band has, despite all the difficulties that stood on its way. To make things easier, I tip my hat to B.O.S. and I wish from heart, their next recording will be their debut full length album.
