HOLY DRAGONS 'Wolves Of Odin' (Metalism Records)

One of the more well-known bands in the Russian regions is the Kazachstansettled HOLY DRAGONS. I have reviewed their earlier releases and now it is time for their latest release. Of course lyrics are in Russian, but if you listen to their sound that should not be a problem, because instrumental this band is far above the rest. Just listen to the solo's and riffs, because it is of a very high level, high class Neo-Classical Melodic Metal like a Kazachstan version of MALMSTEEN. Vocally it is a bit weaker, because lead singer Holger Komaroff is a very raw singer, which makes the music of HOLY DRAGONS less sensational and that's a pity, because instrumental this is a very impressive record.
