French heavy metal squad LONEWOLF has started pre-production of the brand new, fourth studio album. Some of the special guests that will take part in the recordings are Majk Moti (ex-RUNNING WILD) and Jan Bunning (ex-PARAGON). The yet untitled release will be recorded this summer, produced by Bart Gabriel (Crystal Viper, Metalucifer, Sabbat), and mixed & mastered by the Grammy nominated Andy La Rocque (King Diamond, Hammerfall, Evergrey) in the Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden.

We are happy to announce, that the German Speed / Heavy Metal force STORMWARRIOR joined the DRAGONIGHT AGENCY! STORMWARRIOR are known worldwide for their unique style combining True Heavy Metal anthems with the concept of Nordic mythology. Hailing from Northern Germany and greatly inspired by the 80's metal scene, especially the Hamburg Metal godfathers like Helloween and Running Wild, the band was founded by Lars Ramcke. After releasing 2
demo tapes and playing dozens of live shows, Stormwarrior finally got the attention of one of their all time idols Kai Hansen (Gamma Ray/ex-Helloween) and recorded their selftitled debut album with him in Hamburg based Hansen Studios. The album hit the stores in July 2002 and praise from all corners
of the globe has been streaming in since then. Successful festival appearances at the Wacken Open (Ger), Gates Of Metal & Motala Metal Festival (Swe), a tour with Iron Savior and the EP "Heavy Metal Fire" followed. End of 2003 STORMWARRIOR entered Hansen Studios again to record the strongly
awaited second album "Northern Rage" which was released in June 2004 and proved once more that Stormwarrior are on the right path to reach the level of the bands that had once inspired them. After the successful release of "Northern Rage" they were invited to support Gamma Ray on their Japan tour
and to play all the big festivals like Wacken Open Air, Bloodstock (UK), MANOWAR's Magic Circle Festival and Earthshaker during the past summers. And besided proving that they are one of the hottest live acts of our times STORMWARRIOR added a special set to their live show, which they played
together with Kai Hansen celebrating old Helloween classics of the glorious "Walls" era. Now the band is back with their 3rd studio album "Heading Northe", recorded in their own "Thunderhall Studio" and mixed by Piet Sielck (Savage Circus, Iron Savior). The final mastering was done by Tommy Hansen

download. The single four-minute track that has been uploaded
features four short clips of Katagory V songs that Rybka submitted
for his audition, and what inevitably landed him the singer slot in
the band.

When it comes to power metal, it’s not easy to come up with an original formula that would conjoin pure heaviness, catchy melodies and top-notch musical skills. Fortunately, New Eden is one of these bands that manage to get the job done and deliver a prime selection of tasty riffs and memorable vocals. Metal Mind Productions presents the re-release of the group’s second LP, “Obscure Master Plan” which shows exactly how a modern power album should sound! The album, first released in 1999, is a power metal masterpiece, capturing the sheer essence of the genre and improving it with the addition of speed and progressive metal elements. The ten tracks included on “Obscure Master Plan” range from heavy metal anthems to thrashing monstrosities and progressive elegies. New Eden managed to capture the retro sound of 80’s heavy metal and confront it with a truly modern approach, backed with some amazing guitar riffs and impressive vocal lines. Easily comparable to classic releases by Iced Earth, Symphony X or Sanctuary, “Obscure Master Plan” is definitely one of the best US power metal albums of the 90s.
The remastered edition of the album will be available on 23rd June 2008 in Europe and 5th August 2008 in USA (via MVD). New digipak edition is limited to 2000 copies.

Overlorde announces that the band has parted ways with vocalist Chris Colfax. Kong, Dave and M.E. wish Chris the best of luck!
Meanwhile, the band will now begin to look for a replacement. The band is well into preparing for its next release on Sonic Age Records, the followup to the highly acclaimed CD titled RETURN OF THE SNOW GIANT. So the vocalist should be ready to hit the ground running.

Artillery - back in the 80's they were one of the biggest European thrash sensations on the scene characterized by intense, energetic riffing and unique vocals of Flemming Ronsdorf, somewhat reminiscent of Slayer and Megadeth from the same era. The band was formed in 1982 in Taastrup, in the suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. The band members were: guitarists Jorgen Sandau and Michael Stützer, bassist Morten Stützer, drummer Carsten Nielsen and singer Carsten Lohmann. Their debut album "Fear of Tomorrow" and the follow-up "Terror Squad" have gained a legendary status, becoming some of the most thrilling thrash releases of the late 80's period. Their first album for Roadrunner Records, "By Inheritance", repeated the impressive success of the previous LPs. Flemming Rasmussen finally crafted a more than competitive sound for the band which was often compared with Metallica's "Master Of Puppets". Unfortunately, after that Artillery was put on hold for almost 9 years, to ultimately return in 1999 with another amazing release, "B.A.C.K.". Today, the band still remains active, although there are no signs of a new recorded material yet. During the wait, the fans were granted a unique chance to rediscover the band’s whole discography in one exclusive box set which was released by Metal Mind Productions in August 2007. Special collector’s edition of the “Through The Years” contains 4 Artillery albums plus 32 page booklet.

Arkeyn Steel Records - The "secret" release
This US band, released back in 1991 one GREAT 3-song demo of US Melodic Power / Progressive Metal. A second demo was recorded back in 1994 but it remained unreleased. Arkeyn Steel presents for the very first time on CD those two Metal jewels, mastered from the scracth and presented in new artwork plus an informative booklet including complete biography and unreleased photos. Crystal Tears have joined forces with Ian Parry (Elegy, Consortium), who was invited to write the lyrics and vocal melody lines as a guest vocalist on the new CD!!! The band has also joined forces with R. D. Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, Firewind, Chastain, Eldritch etc.), who will produce the album in Germany!!! Crystal Tears will enter the studio mid May, while Ian plans to start his vocal recordings at his own studio in the Netherlands shortly after.

Brand new studio album of the Polish heavy metallers Crystal Viper will be
titled "Metal Nation", and will came out in late 2008 through Karthago
Records (CD version) and High Roller Records (limited vinyl version). Album
will include new songs such as: "Metal Nation", "1428", "Die By The Blade",
"Zombie Lust", "The Anvil Of Hate", "Crimson Tears" and "Bringer Of Light".
Except that the band will record cover version of the Agent Steel classic
song "Agents Of Steel". Cover artwork was painted by Chris Moyen - legendary
artist known from his works for bands such as Blasphemy, Beherit or
Desaster.

While the band finished the music for the new CD and turned the recording over to new singer Dan Kaisk to lay down the vocals for what will be BY FAR the best Axemaster ever, there has been some news........ .....
The band's release "5 Demons (Imperative is their Demise)" from 1991 has been added to Smog Veil Recors' i-tunes roster for downloading (joining "Blessing in the Skies"). "5 Demons" was the last release the band did while still active and the last time we released all new music; it's my personal favorite of all the old Axemaster releases. Sol Music Management ( http://www.solmusic management. com/) hooked the band up with the Independent Artist Company and KAIC to create a page which includes two of the band's most popular old songs to specifically be downloaded by radio stations for airplay. New Jersey Metallers, Attacker are recording a brand new song that will be featured in a free CD to be published by Polands Hard Rocker Magazine. The new song will be titled "Condemned". The new song will later be released by the band as a commemorative CD single for fans attending the Keep It True X Festival. In its release, there will only be 100 copies made and each copy will be autographed by Attacker themsleves. Vocalist Bob Mitchell recently made this statement "Bart Gabriel and I share a long term friendship and when he asked us to contribute a song for the magazines free CD, we counter offered a brand new song to him and for our fans throughout Europe. I will also confirm that we will later release this new song as a CD single. "Condemned" will give fans an opportunity to check out what's yet to come from us. It's also our way of giving back and saying thanks to those that have remained loyal and supported us".

Katagory V has confirmed that they will be performing as Metal Church Vocalist Ronny Munroe's band in Las Vegas, NV on New Years Eve.
"When we got the call from our friend Jeff (promoter, Loud Productions Company) about possibly putting together a New Years party in Las Vegas, we were totally game for that," comments Bassist Dustin Mitchell, "However, we would not be performing as Katagory V. but instead as Ronny Munroe's Backing band!
"We have been friends with Ronny for some time now, and when the favor was asked of us to help out with this gig, we had to no other answer but "Hell Yes!"
The Ronny Munroe New Years Eve show will include songs from Metal Church, his solo CD, Rottweiler, Katagory V and more.

As previously announced, Overlorde's John "Kong" Bunucci will be appearing at a "Meet and Greet" during DRAGON CON in Atlanta, Georgia. He will be a guest of HEAVEN AND HELL RECORDS (http://heavenandhellrecords.com/).
The time and date is now set. Kong will appear on Saturday, Sept 1st at 2:00 PM. He will have a limited number of posters and 8 x 10's to give away. CDs will also be available for sale at the Heaven & Hell Records Booth.

We're happy to let everyone know that the writing for AXEMASTER's long awaited new full length CD tentatively titled "The Second Coming" has been completed and the recording will start soon. NEW CD
Viron are currently in the process of writing new songs for their next CD. Their debut "NWOGHM" (Sonic Age/Twilight) was a huge success and the band is still happy with it. There won΄t be any changes in style or recording method (NWOGHM was recorded partially live without triggered drums or guitar-pods) and they will keep on being diverse on the next CD. Again the songs will be based on classic Heavy Metal with short "trips" into speed, thrash and doom and they will continue sounding more US-based or British than German. One of the new songs reminds of early Vicious Rumors, another is the most epic tune Viron have ever written. The CD will be recorded in August 2007 again at www.kohlekeller.de . And the label? Viron had several offers and now it seems like they will sign with a German company within the next weeks. More details soon...

Polish female-fronted True Heavy Metal band CRYSTAL VIPER will release its debut album, titled "The Curse Of Crystal Viper", on February 25 via the German label Karthago Records (home of classic '80s Metal bands such as NOISEHUNTER, BLACK FATE, GRAVESTONE, ALIEN FORCE and others). The conceptual CD, which will be distributed in Europe through Twilight Vertrieb and in the United States through Sentinel Steel, was produced by Bart Gabriel (METALUCIFER, METAL MIRROR, OVERDRIVE, LORD VADER and others), and recorded by Tomasz Zalewski at the Zed Studio in Poland. The opening intro speech for the album was recorded by the SACRED STEEL vocalist Gerrit P. Mutz. The band has been offered contracts by 4 different European record labels to re-release their debut album "Blessing in the Skies" on CD (it was originally released as an LP by Azra International Records); serious negotiations are currently going on with one of the companies in particular. The plan is to include the entire album with at least a couple bonus tracks, making at least 5 songs that have never been released on CD. It will also include a large booklet with photos and liner notes and possibly even video footage. I'll let you know more details as soon as a deal is finalized. As one of the owners of one of the companies said: "I think it is time "Blessing In The Skies" got the attention it always deserved....."

After a good response of their last album “DownWords” (2005) Moonlight is working on it’s follow up…. They are currently writing new material and plan to enter Fonoplastykon studio in early August. They will work again with producer Marcin Bors. As for the other news Moonlight had also a small change in line-up. After 9 years of working together, Maciek (drums) decided to part with Moonlight due to lack of time for the full time commitment. Luckily, they quickly find a replacement and new session will start with new drummer – Krzysztof “Bia�y” N�drala (known from his work with Body Mind Relation). New, yet untitled album will be their jubilee, 10th release!

Hi everybody!! This has been an extremely full week as many things occured for the band!
Nick's new guitar is on it's way aftersome modifications made by Halo Guitars and it should arrive in time for the recordings.
Fragiskos (drums) is beginning the recording session in Saturday at Esoteron Studios (GR) and we hope that by the end of the month all guitars, bass and drums will be finished and we'll enter Angelight Studios for the keyboards and vocals session.
Keyboards are right now being rearranged and new stuff is being added as well as some vocal lines from choirs and a female vocalist.
In August some of us will travel to Germany to mix and master the album with the well known Markus Teske (Symphony X, Vanden Plas, Mob Rules, Red Circuit) at Bazement Studios.

It was 1988 when Battle Bratt released their one and only self-title debut record in Europe on US Metal Records and was reissued by the label again in 1991 for release in Japan on Meldac Records; the record had later become a big success in the underground world of independent signed artists... The record was produced by Battle Bratt and co-produced by Dave "The Lion" DeFeis of Virgin Steel and Chris "Doctor Metal" Bubacz who engineered a record for Ace... The CD is now a highly sought after collectable item that can be frequently found at auction on eBay selling for as much as ten times it's original price. In 1985 Battle Bratt appeared on the compilation record "Speed Metal Hell" by California based record label New Renaissance Records, the song "Henchman" set the stage for the beginning of the bands musical career.

David Wayne’s Metal Church

June 13, 2005
On May 10th, 2005 we lost a true brother and close friend, Reverend David Wayne. As many already know, David was returning to the metal scene with us, the band members of “Reverend,” labeled as “David Wayne’s Metal Church (DWMC).” His sole goal was to try and get metal to be METAL again, at the same time drawing attention towards our return.
When a band mate dies the remaining members have to make a decision; continue on with the same beliefs, values, and direction, or stop playing together and pursue other projects. In our case, David left us specific instructions. After a period of mourning and in David Wayne’s honor, we will follow through with the “Godfather of Metal’s” wishes.
As of the date of this press release, “David Wayne’s Metal Church” no longer exists; however, in the pursuit of true heavy metal we are announcing the reformation of “REVEREND!”

The new album "The Legacy of Gaia" from the prog metal band Before Eden is being released through the label Hellion Records. The CD will be on stores in the end of june and includes ten tracks and a conceptual part about Gaia and the destiny of humanity. In this second album, the band shows a great evolution, playing a progressive and original sound, really heavy and melodious. Certainly it was made for fans of bands like Symphony X, Dream Theater, Kamelot...

AQUARIA - A NEW ERA HAS BEGUN
After a huge success in Japan through Marquee Records (Megadeth, Edguy, Hammerfall) and in Mexico through Scarecrow Records (Kamelot,Edguy), the band AQUARIA (with former members of Uirapuru) is going to release the debut album called LUXAETERNA in Brazil July 30th through Hellion Records ( same label as Steve Vai, Glenn Hughes, Yardbirds,Twisted Sister,Symphony X among many others).In september, LUXAETERNA will have is European, American, Australian, Russa, Argentinian and Colombian version.
The album, is a "Rock Opera" about the genesis of the universe, when each song is a cosmic play, full of orchestrations, sound effects, deluxe booklet, like a big production demands.
The album was produced by Bruno Agra and recorded at Creative Sound Studios, in Sao Paulo, by Philip Colodetti (the best heavy metal sound engineer of Brazil, that worked with Angra, Shaman, Kamelot, Krisiun, Heavenly, Rhapsody, to name a few) and mixed and mastered by Sascha Paeth (Kamelot,Rhapsody,Angra,Epica) at Gate Studios, in Wolfsburg, Germany.
In the artwork, the cover was created and drawn by Roberto Campus that works for Marvel Comics and For the logo, something of great responsibility, Eric Philippe was requested, the one who made the covers and logos from a lot of successful bands such as Rhapsody and Gamma Ray.
The first gigs of the bands in Brazil would be in the biggest Anime/Manga events of all Latin America called Anime Friends with special Japanese singers Akira Kushida,Takayuki Miyauchi and Hironobu Kageyama. Day 10th of July in Rio De Janeiro Anime Family and day 15th July in Sao Paulo. After that the bands goes though a big tour inside all the country.

Stratovarius have announced the bulk of the dates for their 6 month long World Tour in support of their new album entitled 'Stratovarius', which will be released on September 5th on Sanctuary's Mayan Records label. The tour will commence this summer in Latin America and the
European shows start in late October and will prove to be a real winter warmer for all metal fans. The tour is entitled 'M3 - Monster Metal Madness', and will see the Finnish maestro's team up with Sweden's Hammerfall for double headlining shows that will roll through 14 European countries. Gamma Ray have recently finished the final mixing of their new album which
was recorded at the Hansen Studios in Hamburg. The album includes 11 tracks
which represent all of the characteristic strengths of the bands musical career
to date. The album title is 'MAJESTIC' and is scheduled for a release late
September. Until then the band will undetake worldwide promotional activities
and in parallel they also have to move their Hamburg studio to a new
Location because the actual building will be completely rebuilt this summer.
You can meet GAMMA RAY during summer at the following European Festivals:
24.06. Balingen, Germany, BANG YOUR HEAD Festival
16.07. Helsinki, Finland, TUSKA Festival
The album release will be followed by a worldwide headline tour which is in
the planning stage at the moment.
Further to this, the Gamma Ray website will be relaunched with a completely
new design and a dedicated Fan Club member area in June. Fan Club Members who
haven't received the Fan Club Newsletter in February by post and everyone
who is interested in joining the bands official Fan Club should send an email

further information.

Dear Friends
Yes, we know it's been a long time without any real news and visible
activity from the band!
But, since December 2004 we have been working on the production of the new
album and it was a long period of blood sweat and tears, but also of joy and
pleasure. Everyone in the band went through some personal suffering or difficulties
during this time and occasionally we had the feeling that something or someone
wanted to stop us from making this record.
Finally, two months ago, we got the message that we had to leave our studio
complex at the end of May because some sharks bought the whole building and
had nothing more constructive in mind than kicking out all the bands that
were rehearsing there only to rebuild it into a storage place for rich peoples
dirty attorney files or whatever.....! With this in mind it made working in a
relaxed atmosphere even harder. But we could not be stopped and fought our
way through and....presto... WE MADE IT!!!
We are sure that the long wait has not been in vain and everyone's gonna be
rewarded with an album that goes beyond the expected (as always this is just
our humble opinion and the rest is up to the listener).
Now we're working out the big promo and touring game plan with Sanctuary and
All Access and of course getting everything ready to move to the new studio
location which we found a few weeks ago.
It is near the old place and actually much bigger and nicer than the old
one, with a waterfront view of the river Bille, a tributary of the Elbe. When
everything is ready there's gonna be a massive party for selected friends,
fans, journalists, musicians and so on
We hope that you will be patient for just a little while longer until the
album is finally released and not kick our butts for keeping you on hold for so
long. We're more alive than ever and we're damn hungry to go out on tour and
get this album on to a stage

X-Piral gave a short interview to Hakos Pervanidis of the metal show TV War. The interview as well as the video clip of "Crawling in you minds" track from the debut album will be broadcasted on 27th of April.
The show takes place from 00:00 to 1:30 every Wednesday.
Other News : X-Piral have just finished their 3rd new track which will be included
in their next release.The overall style is a little bit different from the debut
album but still in the same musical directions. The tracks will be presented in
the forthcoming live show at 8 Dytika.
A new member has joined the band. Makis joined the band a week ago as the bass guitarist. Makis is also a member of Wheelrunner and until now we are very satisfied with his abilities.

Sacred blood are currently recording their debut album. The drums recordings are well taken care of by George Karahalios ( Snowblind, ex Spitfire) and are nearly finished. The guitar recordings are at the 5th song right now, and we are progressing with fast rythms at the studio of Mike Galiatsos (ex Nightfall, Snowblind). Meanwhile, a permanent drummer has joined the band, and is found at the place of Nikos. Currently the group is rehearsing for some live shows that have been arranged, along with the cd recordings. More news to follow soon, beware!

AFTER ALL SIGN RECORD DEAL WITH DOCKYARD 1
OK, here's the big news... After All signed a multi-album deal with German
label Dockyard 1, the new company of Dirk Putzke, Christine Stephan (both
ex-Sanctuary/Noise Records) and Piet Sielck (Iron Savior). The CD-version of
the new After All album "The Vermin Breed" will be out on March 21st.
As reported earlier, "The Vermin Breed" was recorded and mixed by veteran
producer Harris Johns (Voivod, Helloween, Kreator), at the Spiderhouse
Studio in Berlin, Germany. "The Vermin Breed" CD contains 9 new tracks and
some bonus material. Several songs were already presented live during After
All's European campaigns with Anthrax and Overkill.
The new record clearly displays the growth of the band, both live and in the
studio. The musical direction After All introduced on "Mercury Rising" has
now been finetuned. That makes "The Vermin Breed" one sheer thrash attack.
Be prepared...
"THE VERMIN BREED" TO BE RELEASED ON LIMITED VINYL
And another record deal... German label Killer Metal Records will release
"The Vermin Breed" as a limited edition of 500 LPs on blue vinyl. The vinyl
release will have exclusive artwork. Street date is March 21st as well.

and band pics. with vintage concert video footage from the 1st and
2nd 'Ages', will "open" the segment of the film titled "Rock and Roll
and Rings". The film "is a feature-length documentary that reveals
the ongoing cultural phenomenon created by The Lord Of The Rings.

after 50 years, a single literary work continues to the spark the
hearts and minds of millions, across cultures and across time".

Sacred Blood are currently working on their debut album about the battle of Thermopylae.The band has joined since April 2004 the singer John Georgopoylos (ex-Airged L'amh) and currrently they are recording their new material. The band has been given some suggestions from some metal labels, but have not decided yet with which label they will release it. The band has released a demo cd in 2003 titled "Clash of the Titans" which got some very good feedback from the underground scene.

Somehow sad news for the greatest Epic Metal band from Hellas.. Chris Mossalos (guitars) had to leave the band due to internal conflicts... Chris imediatelly formed a new band WRATH BLADE.
Now the band is not so active as the other guitarist is opening his own studio.
In the meanwhile, we are waiting for their upcoming release Sword of Doom 7'' single to be released soon by EAT METAL Records.
