This is the kind of band wich allows a musical style to
evolve. To be Arwen's debut album, we can only imagine the bright future of this band.
This spanish band plays an extremely melodic metal, wich even for the non metal audiences
will be like a breath of fresh air. All this without loosing the metal escence in each of
the tracks. The creativity of Arwen is shown in their interesting harmonies and melodic
passages, not very usual in the common power metal. With two great keyboard players with
amaizing skills, two excellent voices and great guitar solos, it seems like were
witnessing the birth of a really great band of the genre. The sweet voice of the female
singer gives the band a special style compared only to bands like Nightwish but with a
special personal seal. This is without a doubt a great album and even more because it's
their first one. i don't want to sound negative but i doubted if they were really spanish,
I mean they sing perfectly in english and the sound is just amaizing! |
