Tales about primordial battles, darkness and the existence of ancient realms long lost in time and waiting to be rediscovered; the question is: will it be a bless or rather a dark curse upon mankind? In this wonderful Album, full of myths and presages, Bal-Sagoth masterfully represented their own creation of a fantastic world that disappeared many millenias ago. Even the booklet is held in the form of a manuscript or a expedition journal found at the ruins of Tiahuanaco; in fact a very nice idea that enhances the impression this record makes. Byrons fabulous brachial voice tells the story from various points of views throughout the whole album. The rhytms will either convince (like it did with me as you may have noticed) or declare war upon your ears. All in all, to make it brief, an masterpiece to enjoy.
Score:9.5/10
