Lacrimosa-"Echoes" Hall of Sermon 2003 |
There was great expectation for this album. After listening
the single "Durch Nacht und Flut" many people talked about a return to their
roots but sadly it isn't so. The used almost the same formula of their previous album; the
not so acclaimed "Fassade". Or "Elodia" wich meant a total
tranformation for the band. The album isn't bad but it has too many symphonic parts
(the 12 minutes intro for example) and many "soft" songs, althought they don't
seem to be loosing the trademark sound of the band. The voices of Tilo & Anne are just
great and show how much they have improved. To finish I want to highlight some songs I
would like to recomend: "Durch Nacht und Flut " & "Apart" the rest
is up to you. |
