Germany surprises me once
again, producing high quality bands wheter gothic or metal bands. All of them through
Napalm Records; a great label dedicated to release atmospheric, dark, gothic bands, etc
signing them after great demos or festival performances all over europe or inside germany.
To describe Eishielig style would be really hard, some call them dark metal, gothic rock
or gothic metal, the only thing we can say about them is that they play some ultraheavy
guitars, creating a dark sinister atmosphere, a totally profound voice wich reminds me
Rammstein or Type O Negative, they sing in their own language(german), wich is now more
used by the teutonic bands. This album shows creativity and a particular sound that
Eisheilig offers to refresh the listeners minds, they even include a The doors cover;
"Love Street" as bonus track, just a great album. |
