Album:"Earthīs crying"
K'ay-nah 2000

Debut album from this mexican band.Having lots of media coverage in their country and sharing the stage with Rhapsody and Shaman make this band worth a look. The album starts with an instrumental intro (thereīs four in the cd). After that "In a dream" a great song, then comes "The holy garden", another great track.Afterwards "Blue Rose" a bit slow at the beginning wich acelerates near the middle and sounds just fine, then "Uey Tecutli Tenamaxtzin" a song in spanish with very interesting lyrics and also one of my favourites. And then the track wich gives the album itīs name;"The Earthīs crying", a great song with lots of energy, being this one of the highlights of the album. To finish "Nightly Vision" & "Forgetting the world", this one ends curiously with a prayer in japanese! The album shows a talented band with great ideas and potential, but the heavier tracks arenīt properly mixed. The drums should hit your chest in such an album, and they donīt. This is a band to keep an eye into, but Iīm sure that properly mixed this would be a killer album. Also the voice of the singer;operistic and very "hispanic", give the songs a particular sound.

Score:7/10
