I'll star saying that this album, "Rain of a Thousand Flames" is for rhapsody fans, because if you liked the band's early releases wich where very orchestrated and the third one "Dawn of Victory" full of energy, then the mixture of all those result in "Rain of a Thousand Flames". In this album Alex Staropoli shows himselve very symphonic influenced, much more tha in the previous albums. Luca Turilli is enchrged of the potencie with razorblade  guitars in all the songs inclusive in the best song of the cd; "The Wizard´s last rhymes", Luca plays the synth guitar  giving this song a variety ot sounds. About the other members of the band, we have to say that Alexandro Lotta kicks ass with his 6 strings bass, Alex Holzwarth gives the power in the rytmic department and Fabio Lione sings as good as always. If you didn't liked the previous releases of the band or if you expected something like "Dawn of Victory" you'll be desapointed, but for all those die hard Rhapsody fans, "Rain of a thousand Flames" is the album we were waiting where agressive guitars and symphonic music make a fantastic mix
