We interviewed BETO VAZQUEZ INFINITY from Argentina, the great metal ensemble.Their debut album is as good as any would expect wich so many great musician like Beto Vázquez, Jörg Michael, Fabio Lione, Tarja Turunen,Pablo Soler, etc. If you don´t have this album yet, go get it now!. Here´s what Beto Vasquez, bassist & mastermind of Beto Vázquez Infinity answered in name of the band.

1.- Where does the idea of Beto Vázquez Infinity comes from?
Since long time ago I´ve been acumulating ideas, beyond classic Heavy Metal abarcando so many styles, I began acumulating them. The characteristics of the new material didn´t qeued in my old band Nepal, since neither the musicians nor the band´s performance had to do with it. One day had so many material, I decided that it was time to make it public and formed Beto Vázquez Infinity. I worked with the two bands in parallel until the noncontinuation of Nepal was decided.

2.- When do you contact the foreign guests for your debut and Pablo Soler, Humanimal´s guitar (certainly exceptional)?
Once the Record Company listened to demo and checking the quality of the material it is offered to me to work with people of very high level as far as his trajectories and names. The selection was in common agreement since I made a list according to the composition for each one of the different voices. The surprising thing is that all the musicians accepted when they listened the project. About Pablo Soler, it was an invitation, of wich I´m very proud . I believe that he is one of the greatest guitarists of Argentina and his band (Humanimal) is excellent at musical level. Beyond all this, a great respect and friendship unites me with Pablo to whom always I will be wishing the best for his career.I thought it would be important to him to participate in my album.

3.- How was the european audience´s reaction to the album?
It caused much curiosity that a southamerican artist was joined in his debut album by such important figures from bands like Stratovarius, Nightwish, Rhapsody, etc. About the music, the critics that arrived are very positive. I´ve been lucky to edit the album in such countries like Finland, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Chile and other countries that are constantly being added.

4. - Beto Vázquez Infinity is thought as an individual project of Beto Vázquez with diverse guests or has stable members?
I could answer both questions with a yes. It is my Project indeed, but I count with stable highly respected musicians like Danilo Moschén (keyboards), Gonzalo Iglesias (guitars), Marcelo Ponce, (ex- Nepal in drums), Lilah Bertolini (flutes), and in vocals the three vocalists; Diego Leone, Ailin Álibel (soprano) and David Lazar. But I also continue working with guests and moving some pieces of the team if it improves the band´s performance, either way they can also stay in the band for life.

5. - Are the lyrics based on any special topic, to be developed in the following albums?
The lyrics are stories and have a common content wich all have to do with. In the second album, which I am already preparing, many places and characters from the first one continue appearing in what you could be calling a second part or a second book. I must also say that other ones, I´m writing are based on Tolkkien books ("The Hobbit" and "Lord of the Rings").

6.-¿What meant to you to work with such great musicians like your guests in your debut album (Lione,Jörg,etc)?
It was a great honor and a pride of being southamerican and to be recognized by these great ones..

7.-When do you plan to release your next album?
I am writing lots of songs now and we are going to begin performing them live together with those from the first one. I suppose that after a prudencial time we will enter the studies to record them.

8.-¿Do you plan to make a tour soon (Argentina or abroad)?
Here in Argentina we´re playing many shows and everything is going O.K. About going to foreign countries,we would have to evaluate the offer an if we agree with the terms, we wouldn´t have any trouble to go anywhere.

9. - Some final words for our readers?
I send you a great salute from Argentina. I really thank you for this interview since perhaps it´ll make us closer enough to show you my solo career wich comes from the heart, with criterion and respect towards music and you,who are really the ones that make us musicians feel it´s all worthy.
An infinite hug to everybody!
