We contacted FREEDOM CALL from Germany.
As important as they are now and as good as their latest album "Crystal Empire"is, we had to interview
them. Here´s what Chris Bay, singer of Freedom Call answered in name of the band.
1.-How´s the "Crystal
empire" story going to continue if so?
The story of Taragon will be continued and with the 3rd album we will finish the
"Trylogy of Taragon". The story will contain the destiny of the nation of
Taragon and will show the future of the Land of light. But be patient, and listen the
connection in between the Music and the Lyrics...:-)
2.-What are the band plans for the near future?
We will continue playing live as much as possible.We noticed that FC is a very good
liveband and so we have the best possibility to meet and greed the fans. For the next time
we will play some single shows around Europe and probably in January our first headliner
shows...
3.-After playing with Hammerfall on europe
are you planning any other tour?
Yes, definitely in November one single show in sweden/Motala and then a tour in
France from 23.11 Nov on...the tour dates you can find under www.freedom-call.com
4.-When do you plan to release your
next album?
It`s not fixed but probably in late summer 2002.
5.-Why did Sascha leave the band?
He couldn´t find a way for himself in playing melodic metal like FC is. It was his own
decision to quit the band but we left without trouble. On this way we wish Sascha the best
for the future!!

6.-How´s
the new guitarrist going?
He`s also a very young guy from Switzerland and an excellent guitarrist. We could play
with him two shows in Austria and Switzerland. He`s a really true metalguy and we have a
very good atmosphere on stage and during recordings, that´s the most important thing!!
7.-Any final words for our readers?
Thanx for your fantastic support , especially during the Hammerfall tour. You were the
best!!! We are also very happy to have such a lot of loyal FC-fans, thank you all!!! In
the future you will see us as much as possible live on stage and we`re sure that we will
have tons of fun together :-) Maybe, we will get the chance to come over to southamerica,
that would make one of our dreams come true, Keep the metal flame burning.
