We contacted TERRENAL a peruvian band , soon to become important in the peruvian metal scene. After hearing them in Rata Blanca´s concert we interviewed their bassist Rafael Martinez,who answered in name of the band.

1.-Who where you influenced by?
Maiden is our main influence, also bands from the old school like Deep Purple,Rainbow, Blackmore´s work. But we also hear today´s bands like Stratovarius and mostly, progressive bands like Dream Theater & Symphony X.

2.-Since when, does the band exists?
Well it started on August 99, with two guitars, but in October 2000 we changed to one guitar and keyboards, and there´s when it became a bit more serious.

3.-Do you plan to release any production soon?
If everything goes fine,like until now, we´ll be releasing something in 2002

4.-What represented to you, to share the stage with Rata Blanca?
It was very important for us, it´s been the biggest show we´ve been involved till now.The people liked our songs and showed us we can grow as a band so many more. It was a great opportunity to show our songs to the people who never heard of us before.What we care right now is to sound better every day.

5.-What plans does the band have for the near future?
We plan to release a comercial demo, cause the first one was just promotional. With some of the songs included in the first demo and maybe some new ones.It might be recorded and released in August or September.

6.-Any final words?
Thanks for the interview and I´d like to say that you haven´t heard our best yet, we are trying to improve everyday in order to sound better, and to give better shows.The heavy metal scene will also grow if more people support new bands like ours, so thank you!
