This is a late review, since this album was released more than a year ago in this Power
Shymphonic Metal band's origin country, Chile. But it was worth the wait! A really good
album, with nice production; music, booklet and cover included. But let's talk about the
album itself; We have 11 tracks, divided in two parts; the first 7 songs have different
topics, but from the eight track to the last one they share the same story, an epic
trilogy about a fascinating story like the ones showed in the Rhapsody album, Six
Magics was even acused for a while of copying the italians style. But after listening to
this album we can say that the similarity is pretty vague. Six Magics' power metal is far
more direct and fast than Luca turilli an Co's, and even more influenced by classical
music. From the 11 tracks the best ones are in opinion "Storm","Infinite
Keeper", "Metal Century" and the title track "Dead Kings of The Unholy
Valey", a true jewel with well distributed time changes, mixing characters and
situations, really great!. I hope that this debut gets the necessary support, because Six
Magics is a very promissing band and they deserve it , beacuse the effort they made to
release this first album.
Score: 7.5/10
