Malevolent
Creation-"The Will to Kill" Nuclear Blast 2002 |
After the great "Envenomed" nobody would expect
anything less than this "The will to Kill". Just to think in the
evolution of this band is satisfactory, from their first albums ,claimed by the death
metal audiences, to this last Cd. With many years in career this album not only shows more
complex compositions (like in "With murderous precision")but powerful
performance given by the experience. In addition to all that the guitar legend James
Murphy cooperates with this album in "Assasin squad" where he performs some
great solos. Althought all this sounds great there's some monotony en the compositions.
But if that takes some points from the total score what makes this album appealing is
songs like "Burned beyond recognition" where the new singer exposes his well
crafted skills. In general a great album with some minor dissapointments but totaly worth
checking out, specially for american death metal fans |
