The bulgarian mastermind of Brazen Abbot, Nikolo Kotzev is behind
this amazing production. Besides the great musicians envolved in the project; Glen Huges,
Joe Lynn Turner, ex Europe´s Mic Michaeli, Doogie White, Sass Jordan and so many others,
what makes this album a great release is the story, the lyrics are based on Nostardamus
life and prophecies. Personally I´ve been interested in Nostradamus life quite a time ago
and now, with such a great album about Michel de Notredame, its just amazing. Great music
with fantastic composition and outstanding vocals; every single track is delightful.
Wheter you know who Nostradamus is or not, doesn´t matters. This album is good music to
it´s peek. Great hard Rock tunes "á la" Deep Purple like; "The King will
Die","Introduction" or the fantastic "Caugth up in a Rush" or AOR
feeling tracks like "Henriette","Chosen man" or "Try to live
again" (where Sass voice is just amazing) and specially the fantastic World Wars I
& II make this album a masterpiece. The most important thing is that this is not a die
hard metal fans album. Any person with at least a small sense of taste, will agree that
this is a great hard rock album. It may be one of the hottest release of 2001 if not the
best in the "rock" market (there´s been lot of great metal releases this year).
So don´t hesitate and buy it now, but beware death metal fans, you may want to spend your
money on a more agressive title.
