If what you expected from
this album was something different to Hammerfall you were wrong. It's certainly a great
album but just to "hammerfall" specially in tracks like; "When will I
know" and "Force of the world" wich riffs and choruses are almost the same
ones we heard on the Hammerfall albums. Not everything is "the same", we can
notice Stefan's 80's hard rock influences in songs like "Enlighten me" or
the fantastic "Master of my Soul" of enchanting hard rock style. The jewel of
this album is the instrumental "First Strike" filled with power and a marvelous
main riff, catchy like no other one. A great album wich shows some new stuff and obviously
Stefan's guitar skills but with enough Hammerfall sound to make us wait for a more
original album. |
