What a great album! Since the very intro of the album you notice you´re entering forbidden passages of eternal beauty but equal mistery. Not only the usual "Therion" melodic tunes but also the great vocals create a perfect balance. A diverse palette of voices and classical instruments compound the musical basis for the fantastic story of the 9 runes of the Yggrasil tree, which is the main plot of this mystical adventure. It´s not a headbangers (although there´s even a power heavy part in Vanaheim) album but a marvelous experience for those who have patience enough to enjoy the enchanting masterpiece, Therion brings to us in this undisputable work of art without any prejudice. It´s necessary to buy this album if you haven´t heard any Therion album yet, you will be delighted
