Locomotive records brings us another spanish heavy metal band.
This is the first album that I hear of this guys, but Itīs the third album they
release. After "Medieval" and "Legendario", they are ready to become
the next force on the now called N.W.O.S.H.M(New wave of spanish heavy metal). This 2000
release includes a bit of power metal influence mixed with a lot of Iron Maiden sound. The
first track called "La tormenta" is an intro to the second song called
"Tierras de Leyenda", here you can find some great lyrics, with classic heavy
metal riffs, and thatīs the essence of this record. You should try this album īcause it
resumes the concept of what the classic sound of heavy metal is.
The highlights of the album are the mentioned "Tierras de Leyenda", "La
torre de Babel", "La caja de Pandora", "Caballo de Troya"(my
favorite) and "La momia".
Even if you donīt understand spanish you would like this album, and if you are in Europe
you should search for itīs latest release: A video + cd pack called "Cuando la
Tierra toca el Cielo",the cd includes two new tracks for their forthcoming album. The
tracks are "Pegaso" and "El laberinto del Minotauro".
Score: 8.5/10
