Here they are again. Coming from the frost covered lands of Sweden, bringing us yet another great Viking Metal album. Eleven Powerfull, yet melodic, speaker blowin' Metal which will freeze your neurons and let you go berserk! Succeding their previous blaster "Valdr Galga", Urkraft sets forth the nordic wave, which soars over the world like a winter-cold breeze. Brachial voices of T. Väänänen , extraordinary guitar-riffs by H. Svegsjö and P.Lindgren, smashing batteries by J. Kristensson, a bass like an earthquake, performed by K. Sjölund, and last but not least, acompaning all of the above mentioned, the fantastic, mythical and typically nordic synthesizer sounds of P.Löf. Songs like "Mjölner" (that's Thor's hammer) "Dryckesväde" or "Sweoland Conqueror" will raise the heartbeat of every true Black and Viking fan. The feelings this CD evokes are true and strong. Thyrfing won't let you down, as they have proven for the third time until now. The digipack edition contains the G. Moore bonustrack "Over The Hills and Far Away", a beautiful, sincere and moving ballad, which seals this extraordinary disk. Real "Furore Normannorum" (Northman's rage)!
