Studioreport from Tarek "MS" Maghary:
HAIL!!! I would like to keep you up to date here
about the production of our new album , because it is very
important for us that you all participate on the
magic of the Development of our Songs, because we make
this album for you! After we had been occupied in the last months
with the Preproduction which was done in the STEELPRIDE
studios, the time had come to start the production. On 9th of June
Michael and I drove to the ROXX studio to begin with the drumrecordings.We
deceided to record there, because Stefan Kaufmann knows, how
a loud and wild Heavy Metal album has to sound. Listen to the
last releases of U.D.O., and you know what I mean. After we had
unloaded our equipment in the studio, Stefan and we drove
to the village, where our hotel was, which is about 3 KM away from
the studio. There we visited a little pup, in order to enjoy
a few Beers.
We then were able to use the entire next day
for setting up the drums and the microphones and I already
can tell you, that the sound will blow you away because it is loud,
pounding and clear. That proves once again, that as a band
you should always take your time to set up your drumkit and
the drum microphones.
In the next days Michael hammered in
the new Songs. I have to tell you, it surprises me each time, with
which Presision and thundering force Michael plays. Each tone is exactly
where it belongs and that makes a pounding sound, when it comes
to the finalmix. So thatīs it for the first time. I will keep
you up to date about the further process of the production.
Next thing to come will be the the recording of
the bass and the guitars and Iīm really looking forward to
the beginning of august, when our fanclub members (All Hail MAJESTIC
METALHEADS) will sing in the backing shouts.
