A collection of pics made at our regular spot at camping Perlenau near Monschau, or on trips in the area.
In January we came to check up on things and saw that Günther had cut most of the trees at the waterside. We were shocked, because we thought he wanted to get rid of them, but apparently he just wanted to let more sun through and they would grow

again. In May we still didn't have a tent, for it was being repaired. We left it up in the winter, but didn't support it well enough and it collapsed underneath the weight of the snow. The model you see in the pics is my design for our backyard;) Also in May Ton and Anneke came by and we took pics in Monschau and the indoors trademarket. We also went to Pascal's Greek restaurant near Mechernich (he used to have a restaurant in Monschau). Since we didn't go on a long vacation this year, we spent more time at the campsite, esp. in May. We made a little cruise on the Rursee nearby and went to the wildpark in Hellenthal, where we love the birds of prey the most! In June Silkie visited us and we went for a walk in the nature reserve "Hohe Venn" at the border with Belgium. In July we went for a walk near Kalterherberg and that turned out a very pretty area! In August Henri and Petri visited us and in September we were busy with our yard back home. In October we went to the campsite to secure our tent for the winter and in December we came to have a look and it was still all fine :)
