Info:
Asatru was
formed by Rob Engvikson and Steve in the month of Horning, 2249
RE, (Feb. 1999 CE). Both being massive Bathory fans they
naturally followed the Viking trail which led to Asatru. In early
Ostara 2251 RE (April 2001 CE) Mark Brawn Casey Jones left Asatru
and formed a new band called Nihilise. Rob Engvikson is carrying
on Asatru as a solo project for the meantime.
The name:
Asatur is
changing the name of
the band from Asatru to Danelaw. Rob feels Danelaw is more
relevant as it was the large chunk of England given to the Danish
Vikings in 886 as a peace treaty. |
