Well, here is me... I am the keeper of this lair, and I'm going to tell you a little about me (for those who are interested...)

My name's Guillaume, I was born on December, 14th 1976 (so I am 23), I am from Rouen, Normandy, France. I am actually a student (aircraft engineering) and I've been playing guitar for several years now.

In fact, I started guitar when I heard "Surfing with the Aliens", by Joe Satriani... Later, I discovered Angra, then Rhapsody, Therion, Vanden Plas... I immediately knew that was the music I was waiting for and I wanted to play...

While I went further in Metal, I realized two things : as a fan, I had a huge lack of knowledge concerning bands (Manowar ? Who are they ?... Iron Maiden ? I know the name... ) which I try to reduce, and as a musician, I had trouble finding partitions for the songs I wanted to play... Whereas as a guitar player, it was far easier than for a drummer or a keyboard player...

So I decided to create this site to answer both problems : first, to enable any musician to find partitions so they can play their favorite songs in a band, and secondly, to help people discovering some bands they didn't know. I also try to help musicians who try to break through and who I think deserve it (Yes, necessarily, music is subjective...) using the "Hilights". Anyway, I'll comment every young band I'll hear... And as a whole, French bands I like, with the will to make them known internationally...
