Metallica and Raven at a local club during the "Kill 'Em All For One" tour.
Practically the next day, we hooked up with Chris "The Monarch" Weidner and
formed COMBAT.
Signing a deal with legendary Combat Records, we put out the infamous Bootcamp
EP. For obvious reasons, Combat Records would not allow us to use the band
name COMBAT, so the EP was released under the name NAPALM.
With the unexpected success of the EP, Combat Records wanted us in the studio
immediately to do a full length album. This created some differences among the
the 3 of us. Push came to shove, and Chris with the NAPALM name continued on
without us. The Cruel Tranquility LP followed, and then the final NAPALM
release, with no remaining original members, Zero To Black.
In 2002, with Bob Eubank (who ironically could have been the original member
of COMBAT instead of Chris), we reformed COMBAT. At the same time, we also
formed our own record label, THAT'S HEAVY RECORDS, in order to record and
produce our own albums.

When we did our first gig back in 1984, we were told we were too fast, too loud
and needed a singer - meaning, give it up and go back to the drawing board or
get out.
Times have changed, but attitudes haven't. We've already heard some gems from
some of the self proclaimed music elite. Hi guys, we're back!!!
