BIOGRAPHY
After a little band called BEYOND THE BLACK, we had Inspired by Ann Rice’s fictional writings and driven by the best heavy metal from the 80’s, Lestat brings forth a breath of fresh air to their audiences. From the ashes of Beyond The Black, Lestat are a true metal cover band from New Jersey. Their ever-growing set list is armed with an arsenal of songs, including MANY bands, which no longer tour or scarcely tour. Building atmosphere and attention, Lestat open many of their shows with some commonly known commercial songs from bands such as White Snake, Skid Row, and Tesla. As the night gets heavier, so does the music, as the set list leans towards heavier metal bands such as Dio, Scorpions, Pantera, and a TON of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Content to bring back the 80’s metal sound and experience, Lestat present a show filled with an array of talent, musicianship, and fun. Today, Lestat lies dormant until it’s next awakening. Until then, we have that which has risen from the absence of Lestat: The Ultimate Queensryche tribute band called Queen of the Ryche. QUEEN OF THE RYCHE has gained international following since they've been out performing their set of Queensryche material. Covering a majority of older tunes AND Operation Mindcrime, this band takes their performances seriously. The addition of a female vocalist gives this band the ability to cover the Mindcrime album, incorperating the character Mary. Almost every review I have seen from this band states that the vocals don't get any closer to Geoff Tate than this. Music Style Cover Band - 80's Metal
