... In the beginning ...

This four piece ensamble was founded by Craig Besmer in 1989. The original five members of this band played in Craigs parents garage. Lead singer Brian Mahoney left. Brian had a very Deathmetal sound to his lyrics. After a few changes in members, a little less of a "thrash" sound and a few calls to the police...they moved to the living-room. About this time was the departure of the lead guitarist Jay Banks. At this time the band went on as a four piece. As the band progressed and flew the nest they moved to Shotgun Studios. Rented on a monthly basis sharing a room with another extremly talented band. Act of aggression.(A.O.A) For a few months the guitarist of A.O.A., Dazzo filled in where Jay left off. With school, relationships and another band Dazzo left. Since this time the band has remained a four piece ensamble. A few years in Bass Player Rob Pastorino decides to back down and call it quits. A good friend of the bands and talented Brian McKenna steps up to plate. ...After a few big shows, a few problems (involving all) the band takes a break still remaining great friends.

... Growing spurts ...

The band built enough of a crowd, enrgized enough to make the pit happen, that they opened for such groups as... Genitortures, Gothic Slam, Morbid Angel, Pro Pain, Death, Life of Agony, Type O' Negative and Overkill.

... About the Music ...

All songs are written by Immortally Committed. Often one band member has an idea, plays it for the other guys and from there it takes off. Other songs are written by a member and the compilation begins. The songs are mostly about society; Violence, Anarchy, Crime and Addiction. Others take on a more fantasy role that are angry yet... melodic!

... The Studio Sessions ...

After appearing on ES Music Showcase and creating quite a stir the band is working with Mike Sapone at Sapone Productions. They recorded about 14 tracks that may be released in two CDs. While working on the project David DeFeis of Virgin Steele stopped in. He recorded keyboards and Back-Up Vocals on "Epic".

... The First CD ...

Out in 1999, the first IMMORTALLY COMMITTED CD called "Committed for life" includes 10 songs of pure heavy metal music & classics killer tracks ideal for their devastating future live shows. Believe in me, if I say it's quite difficoult to forget amazing kicks in the ass like "Strangers Day", "How", "Epic", "I Ask Why", "B.O.A.", "Unchallenged" or the metal-version of the old "Munsters" serial-tv theme...!!

... The Second CD ...

Recorded during Summer/Autumn 2000, after a lot of concerts in the New York underground area (and a brief parallel membership of the bassist Jeff Beavers in the band Virgin Steele), the second IMMORTALLY COMMITTED CD called "EPIC II - Satan's return", out in the first months of the year 2001, includes 10 new powerful songs featuring the title-track based on the saga started with the tour the force "Epic" in the previous album, the great "Deja Vu", "Shut Up!!", "So Cold", "Drift", "Blind", "Witching Hour", "Oklahoma".....

... The Third CD ...

This is the first work since parting ways with Jeff (the bass god) Beavers, who is now residing in sunny Florida in search of a band! The new bassist Kevin Coleman has learned all songs in no time, and the band is currentlly writing\recording for a late 2002 release! It is confirmed DAVID DEFEIS of VIRGIN STEELE will appear again on this coming new album, as special guest, on a song called "Council in Hell".
