The new 5th edition of HELLENIC FORCES fanzine is out. Written in Greek, color cover, 80 pages - everything about Hellenic Metal scene!

The releasedate for the 3rd quarter is now set. We will release 2 albums, which we already announced some time ago.
We start with CROM, the name of the album is "Vengeance". Musically you can expect Epic/Viking Metal in vein of BATHORY'S "Hammerheart", "Twilight of the gods" and "Blood on Ice". It has been created by Walter "Crom" Grosse, which is known as ex-guitarist of one of Germanys most known Black Metal Bands, DARK FORTRESS.
Album Nr. 2 was created by the Iranians ANGBAND. It has been "baptized" to the name "Rising from Apadana". The early albums of ICED EARTH and DEPRESSIVE AGE you can take as the musical direction. Although the unusual homecountry (for a metalband), guitarist/bassist Mahyar Dean is not unknown in the scene. Some people might know him as the author of the official bandbiographies of DEATH and TESTAMENT. I think it is unnecessary to mention that the situation for the band is not the easiest in Iran, because any kind of Heavy Metal is forbidden there. So it's a special pleasure and honor for us to provide a platform to the guys, which probably no Iranian metalband got up to this day.
Both albums will be available on 29th August.

Crystal Tears have joined forces with Ian Parry (Elegy, Consortium), who was invited to write the lyrics and vocal melody lines as a guest vocalist on the new CD!!! The band has also joined forces with R. D. Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, Firewind, Chastain, Eldritch etc.), who will produce the album in Germany!!! Crystal Tears will enter the studio mid May, while Ian plans to start his vocal recordings at his own studio in the Netherlands shortly after.

As somebody already read on our homepage or in different forums, we signed a cooperation deal with the italian label Cruz del Sur. As first works of this cooperation we will release CRESCENT SHIELD "The last of my kind" and PHARAOH "The longest Night" on vinyl. We are putting all resources on it to be ready at the KIT X, on which both bands will play. To guarantee the best possible sound quality both records will be released as double vinyl in gatefold cover due to their length.
Additionally we got the rights to release all 4 albums of the US-Metalheads SEASONS OF THE WOLF on vinyl. However until the release of these some time will pass.
